Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute that is referred as PCORI Fee is Due this July 31
The PCORI Fee applies to certain issuers of health insurance policies and employers sponsoring self-funded health plans. Employers that are required to pay the fee need to take steps to be sure they file and pay it on time. The fee, required to be reported only once a year on the second quarter Form 720 and paid by its due date, July 31, is based on the average number of lives covered under the policy or plan. Although Form 720 is a quarterly return, for PCORI, Form 720 is filed annually only, by July 31. For 2019, the final annual PCORI fee is due by July 31, 2019.
